Guarantee

For garage door automation, swing gate, sliding gate, industrial door, barriers, tubular motors, wireless systems and accessories, COMETA grants a guarantee for the range of its products for a period of 2 years* and this to from the date of installation.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and its consequences, nor abnormal use, nor modification of parts without the written consent of COMETA.
No warranty is granted on consumables and wearing parts, such as batteries, bulbs, etc.
Alteration work and the supply of spare parts benefit from a 6-month guarantee, but at least the remaining guarantee.

Benefits

All defects in a product resulting from a material or manufacturing defect are eliminated by COMETA during the period of validity of the guarantee. We undertake to repair the product free of charge and at our convenience, to replace it with a product free of defects or to accept a reduction in value. The replaced parts belong to COMETA.
The scope of the warranty covers exclusively the private use of the installation. By private use we mean a maximum of 10 cycles (OPEN/CLOSE) per day. Industrial applications involving longer duty cycles should be agreed with COMETA prior to purchase and on a case by case basis.
Reimbursement of costs for removal, installation and inspection of parts and claims for loss of profit and damages are excluded from the warranty. Removal or damage to the nameplate voids the warranty.

• Use of parts from third-party manufacturers.

Replaced parts

The parts, the replacement of which has been paid for by the customer, are at the latter’s disposal. They will be returned to him if he requested it when ordering the work. After forty-eight hours after the date of intervention, unclaimed parts will be destroyed.
